The classic fairy tales, as we know them, are compulsory reading in all schools and colleges. The tales are also re-enacted regularly (this is a little like putting on the old religious plays in medieval times given most people were illiterate and this was a great way of explaining the Bible stories to them).
Witches tell their versions of the stories to their kind (no prizes for guessing who the heroines are in these!). Fairies do likewise (their versions are what we read). Elves will often tell the stories, pointing out the faults on both sides as long as there are no elves involved!
Storytelling events are also reported on the Fairy News Network regularly as part of their arts coverage. Thankfully this is not done by Roherum who cheerfully admits he doesn't understand the arts. The arts are presented by FNN's only elf presenter, L'Meltwinney (a distance relative of L'Evallier), who is easily the most snobbish presenter in any time, dimension or media. L'Meltwinney is somewhat relieved Roherum has nothing to do with the arts (he and the other elves would consider it a kind of barbarism, given Roherum is a cheerful buffoon).
