On my Fairytales with Bite website I throw out a few thoughts as to how my rebellious fairy godmother, Eileen, landed herself in it with some of her own writings and knew only her royal status saved her from punishment.
So how do writers operate in your fictional world? How many of them are there? Are they all from a certain background (and if so is there a reason for this? For example only beings from Species C are allowed to read and write and act as scribes for all the other species).
Does journalist exist on your world and, if not, how is news spread? Are there libraries in your fictional world and can anyone access them? (Though the way things are going in the UK, sadly, there is every chance our libraries will continue to be cut back, reducing access to them further. I do not see the point of this. Libraries play an important community role which should not be overlooked).
