Option (b) has been known to lead to further rioting in protest at the dreadfulness of his prose but he is oblivous to it all and claims his material is unique. This is true. But for the Queen and her Council any fighting at all makes them anxious that the old resentments, which the fairy royals worked hard to resolve, will rear their ugly heads again and cause further trouble.
After each of Roherum's lyrical condemnation of the latest fights, the Queen and her Council usually give him some exclusive revelation which they know will make the top of the next FNN broadcast. Distraction technique is not confined to our planet...
